Lead mining
Lead mining enables CRM users to generate new leads directly within the system. By applying filters such as location, company size, and industry, businesses can target and capture high-quality prospects efficiently.
Lead mining allows users to automatically generate new leads inside the CRM system. By applying specific filters—such as region, company size, or industry—you can ensure that the leads generated match your target audience and business goals.
Configuration
To enable lead mining:

Navigate to CRM app ‣ Configuration ‣ Settings

Activate the Lead Mining option
-
Click Save

Generate leads
Once enabled, a Generate Leads button becomes available in multiple locations:

CRM app ‣ Configuration ‣ Lead Mining Requests

Click Generate Leads to open a configuration window where you can define your targeting criteria.

Target selection
You can choose the type of leads you want to generate:

Companies: retrieves general company-level information
-
Companies and their Contacts: includes both company data and individual contact details
Note
When selecting Companies and their Contacts, additional filters such as Role and Seniority become available.
Filtering options
To refine your results, use the following filters:

Countries: target specific geographic regions

States: narrow results further within a country
-
Industries: focus on particular business sectors

Company Size: enable this option to define a range based on employee count

Sales Team: assign generated leads to a specific team
-
Salesperson: assign leads directly to a user
-
Tags: automatically apply tags to categorize leads
Important
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (such as GDPR) when collecting and using contact information.
View generated leads
Once leads are generated, they are automatically assigned based on your selected configuration.
To access them:

Go to CRM app ‣ Leads

Open a record to review detailed information
The activity thread (chatter) may include additional insights such as:

Company size
-
Technologies used
-
Timezone
-
Contact details

Note
If the Leads feature is disabled, generated records will appear as opportunities instead.
To enable leads, go to CRM app ‣ Configuration ‣ Settings, activate Leads, and save.
Pricing
Lead mining operates on a credit-based system.

Each generated lead consumes one credit
-
Selecting Companies and their Contacts may use additional credits per contact

To purchase credits:

Locate the Lead Mining section

Click Buy Credits
Alternatively, credits can be managed via the Settings app under the services section.

Note
Some users may receive complimentary credits for testing purposes, depending on their subscription or environment.
