Products

Create and manage products

Products can be created either from the backend or directly within the POS interface.

From the backend

1. Go to Point of Sale ‣ Products ‣ Products

2. Click New to create a product, or open an existing one

3. Update the required fields

4. Ensure the Point of Sale option is enabled

From the POS interface

1. Open the POS register

2. Click the menu icon (☰)

3. Select Create Product

4. Enter product details and click Save

The product becomes immediately available in the POS.

To edit a product:

• Long-click the product

• Select Edit

• Update details and save

POS product categories

POS categories help organize products in the POS interface.

Create categories

1. Go to Point of Sale ‣ Configuration ‣ PoS Product Categories

2. Click New or edit an existing category

3. Define hierarchy using the Parent Category field

Example:

• Drinks → Hot Beverages, Soft Drinks

Assign categories to products

1. Open a product

2. Go to the Point of Sale tab

3. Select one or more categories in the Category field

Restrict visible categories

To limit categories shown in the POS:

1. Go to POS Settings

2. In Product & PoS Categories, configure Restrict Categories

Product combos

Product combos allow you to bundle multiple items into a single product.

Each combo includes:

• Combo choices (categories of items)

• Multiple selectable products within each choice

Example

A meal combo may include:

• One burger

• One drink

• One portion of fries

Customers choose one item from each category.

Create combo choices

1. Go to Point of Sale ‣ Products ‣ Combo Choices

2. Click New

3. Enter a name

4. Define:

   • Maximum items (max selections allowed)

   • Included items (default included quantity)

5. Add products under Options

6. Optionally set Extra Price per item

Pricing behavior

• Combo Price:
  Applied when customers select additional items beyond the included quantity
  (based on the lowest-priced product in the choice)

• Extra Price:
  Additional cost applied to specific items

Create a combo product

1. Go to Point of Sale ‣ Products ‣ Products

2. Click New

3. Set Product Type to Combo

4. Select relevant Combo Choices

5. Define a Sales Price

6. Optionally assign a POS category

Use combos in POS

1. Open the POS register

2. Select the combo product

3. Choose items for each combo choice

4. Click Add to Order

Note

The final price depends on:

• Base Sales Price

• Additional selections (Combo Price)

• Items with Extra Price

Example

An Office Combo priced at 300 € includes desks and chairs.

• Chair combo allows up to 2 selections

• Cheapest chair defines the combo price (35 €)

• Premium chair has an extra price of 100 €

Selecting:

• Conference chair + armchair

Final price:

• 300 € + 35 € + 100 € = 435 €

Serial numbers and lots

Tracking with lots or serial numbers helps monitor product movement.

Enable tracking

1. Enable Lots & Serial Numbers

2. Configure products and assign tracking numbers

Selling tracked products

• When adding tracked products to POS, their lot/serial numbers are automatically loaded

• When loading a quotation or sales order, you are prompted to import tracking numbers

Once imported:

• Tracking numbers appear in the cart

• Displayed next to the product

Tracking status

• 🟢 Valid: Tracking number is correctly assigned

• 🔴 Invalid: Missing or incorrect tracking

To modify:

• Click the tracking icon

• Select another lot or serial number

Note

Missing or incorrect tracking numbers do not block sales, but a warning must be confirmed before proceeding to payment.
